CHETTUWA BACKWATER:
Chettuwa backwater is located in between Engandiyoor Panchayath and Kadappuram Panchayath of Thrissur District in Kerala. The backwater starts at Enamakkal Lake and empties to Arabian Sea.
The destination is blessed with mangroves. Chinese fishing nets, Islands, migratory birds, estuary and a Fort. In 2010, Government of Kerala has declared Chettuwa as heritage Village.

CHETTUWA BRIDGE (NH-17)
Chettuwa has a promi neat place in the Colonial history of Kerala. The Dutch and the British had in turn camped here. One of the old Fort of Tipu Sulthan located here and government has take iniative to develop the deteriorated Fort and its surroundings and develop a park and train service from main road to the Fort.
Tasty kerala food is available with the fish from backwater. Rajah resort is equipped to meet the requirements of all kind of tourists and a spa is also working in the resort.
